Family History
We know that the Tolonens came from Ristijärvi, and we may have found the family tree back to 1605. We know the family was traditionally involved in herding reindeer, grandma explained this and painted the traditional Tolonen reindeer brand.
There is a Tolonen family reunion in Suomussalmi, Finland over 18-19 July, 2009. They will be making a book of the family. It will be interesting to "meet" the rest of the family through the eventual book.
We would love to "meet" other Tolonens through this website.
